The Montealvar Golf Course is looking for a Gardener passionate about caring for green areas and gardens to join our team. We are looking for someone committed to excellence and natural beauty. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in similar positions, essential skills for outdoor work, and a professional level of Spanish. We value the ability to work as part of a team, attention to detail and a passion for nature.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mowing the lawn of the golf course areas and green zones, following the regular maintenance schedule.
• Ensuring the lawn is always in optimal condition and appearance.
• Making sure all green areas receive adequate watering, both on the golf course and in the club’s gardens, respecting the schedules and specific needs.
• Developing a plan to apply the fertilisers and plant-protection products needed to care for the lawn, plants and trees, in order to prevent and control pests or diseases affecting the vegetation.
• Keeping paths, trails and other outdoor areas in good condition.
• Keeping every green area of the club and the course free of leaves, litter and fallen branches.
• Following the landscaping plan defined by management, planting and caring for plants, flowers, trees and shrubs.
• Properly managing organic waste.
• Caring for and maintaining the equipment used for the club’s gardening services.
• Monitoring and managing the soil’s nutrient and pH levels.
• Helping to prepare the green areas when necessary for the club’s special events.
• Complying with the club’s and environmental regulations.
• Always using the protective and safety equipment provided by management.
